Health benefits

Black tea is the most oxidized out of all teas, which means that it has tea flavonoids which may help with lowering cholesterol, boosting metabolism. Some studies show that black tea reduces cardiovascular ailments such as heart disease and atherosclerosis (clogged arteries), especially in women. Traditional Chinese medicine claims that black tea helps to warm the stomach and heart, so it is good to drink after meals and in cold environments. Black tea is also the most caffeinated out of all teas.
